If you forgot the password that you are connected in there is a way for you to get/know the password again by using Laptop's Command Prompt. Forgetting the password happens sometimes but it does not mean it is okay for you to keep forgetting about your password, you have to be mindful of your own password since it's your own personal security information. This article will help you retrieve the Wi-Fi password that you are connected to.

Step 1: Type and search Command Prompt in the search toolbar, Click it to open it.

 

Step 2: In the Command Prompt Window, you have to type the command (Netsh wlan show profile name="Wi-Fi name" key=clear) and then press Enter key.

For Example in the figure: "Unstable Connection" is the name of the Wi-Fi network I am currently connected to.

Step 3: After pressing enter, Scroll down to go to the Security Settings section, below it you will see the Key Content which contains the Wi-Fi password.
